Mr. Henry Nuzum works for Seacor Holdings, an American energy services company, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. His previous assignments included the Office of Secretary of Defense (Policy), most recently as the Chief of Staff for the Office of Strategic Capabilities (2007-09). He worked briefly on the House Armed Services Committee. In 2005, he worked in Iraq for the International Republican Institute. Following college, Mr. Nuzum served as a boarding and strike officer aboard USS John S. McCain (DDG 56), completing two Arabian Gulf deployments. In addition to his sea service, he rowed in two Olympic Games and two World Championships through the Navy Sports Program. Mr. Nuzum earned an M.A. from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and an A.B. from Harvard University.
