Dr. Andrew Mumford
Dr. Andrew Mumford will be Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, beginning in September 2011. He is convenor of the British International Studies Association’s (BISA) Insurgencies and Small Wars working group. Dr. Mumford is the author of The Counter-Insurgency Myth: The British Experience of Irregular War (2011) and co-editor of International Law, Security and Ethics: Policy Challenges in the Post-9/11 World (2011). He is Reviews Editor of the journal Civil Wars and has previously been a Research Fellow at the International Center for the Study of Terrorism at Pennsylvania State University.
