Lieutenant Colonel John S. Kolasheski is slated to become the Commander of 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colorado. He has served in a variety of command and staff positions in the continental United States and overseas to include command of 3rd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment from June 2006 to June 2008. He has deployed three times in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and has been published in Military Review. Lieutenant Colonel Kolasheski holds a B.S. from Bucknell University, an M.S. from the University of Central Florida, and an M.A. in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College Class of 2009.
