Photo Lieutenant Colonel Charles H. "Chuck" Wilson is currently assigned as the Director of Regional Security Affairs at the Strategic Studies Institute. He graduated from the Florida State University in 1986, was commissioned as a field artillery officer, and held a variety of artillery command and staff assignments in Germany and South West Asia. Since becoming a Western European Foreign Area Officer in 1994, he has served as a military intelligence analyst, the SFOR liaison to the Croatian Government, the Executive Officer to the Secretary of Defense Representative in Europe, the Strategic Planner at the US Mission to NATO, and as the NATO defense planner in the European and NATO Policy Davison, The Joint Staff J-5. Lieutenant Colonel Wilson is a graduate of the Dutch and Belgian Defense Colleges, the Joint Forces Staff College, and has an M.A. in Western European Studies from Indiana University.
