ERAP Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is there a limit as to how much funding I can request?
A: No. There is no official limit. However, SSI normally funds requests ranging from $2000 to $12,000. We have funded greater and lesser amounts, but the ERAP budget is limited and we try to fund as many promising proposals as possible.
Q: Do I need to submit a separate proposal for each topic (line item) I wish to research?
A: Yes. You should prepare each topic as a separate proposal.
Q: Is there a limit as to how many proposals I can submit?
A: No. You may submit as many proposals as you wish. However, keep in mind that competition for ERAP funding is stiff, so it is best to submit proposals only on those topics where your credentials and qualifications give you the best chance of success.
Q: When may I apply for an ERAP grant?
A: We are moving it to mid-summer. Look for the official announcement on our website or sign-up for our newsletter.
